Alaskan Baltic Porter 22oz

Alaskan Baltic Porter 22oz

Alaskan Baltic Porter is a deep, dense beer with
an intricate array of aromas and flavors derived from substantial
amounts of specialty malts, dark black cherries and whole gourmet
vanilla beans. Aging on toasted French oak adds further complexity.
Enjoy this brew now or age it for several years. This beer has a longer
life than lighter styles, allowing it to develop rich, new flavors over
time.

It is warm. Silky, sweet, with esters and very evident oaky notes (not subtle, but strong)
It's very complex - usually it's easy to see how common modification (i.e. barrel aging) complement the base style. Here the base style is still followed but it is brewed to imperial strength and heavily supplemented by additional ingredients. Still good. I am sure it ages well so it would be good to pull from the cellar in several years
