By 1985 they were rewarded with an exceptional vintage of Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, one that would go on to capture a 100-point rating from the Wine Advocate. This became a strategic turning point, as no American wine had ever received a perfect score from any wine publication. By 1990, their relentless dedication and stellar wine reviews had transformed the property into a renowned winery, firmly establishing Groth's presence on the wine map. Today, Suzanne Groth, the daughter of Dennis, and Judy, now leads the family's thriving wine business.
