Since then, this small-batch has been slowly maturing in one of the oldest traditional warehouses in the Highlands of Scotland, evolving into a precious, chestnut-hued release that is both rich and fragrant.\u003c\/p\u003e\n \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAndrew Rankin’s tasting notes\u003c\/strong\u003e \u003cem\u003eA rich, yet golden chestnut. On the nose, warm figs and ripe peaches are balanced with layers of pear and cinnamon-spiced orange. Once in the mouth, the flavour is both complex and smooth with a slow release of ripened peaches, pear brandy and toasted oak wood.
