Marasca cherry, the indigenous Croatian brand, is one of the most important Croatian gastronomic attractions. It is considered the tastiest cherry in the world as confirmed by chemical analysis which shows that the Marasca cherry, in its natural habitat in Dalmatia, after the concentration of key content, consists primarily of dry matter and some aromatic compounds, superior to any other cherry in the world. The best representatives of the world famous combination of alcohol and juice with Marasca cherries, are Cherry Brandy and Cherrica liqueurs. Located on the Adriatic coast in Zadar, Croatia, Maraska is a producer of traditional Spirits and Liqueurs from the area.
