The First Maestro Tequilero L°zaro Gallardo is claimed to be the first tequila master distiller (maestro tequilero) in history, as he created the Seleccin Suave process. By this process, he would only pick the richest, smoothest tequila and blend them together, creating a product with superior quality. This process is still in place while producing our tequila.
