Dogfish Head Brewery is a brewing company located in Milton, Delaware. This brewing company owns brew houses in Lewes, Rehoboth, and Milton, Delaware. It was founded in 1995 by Sam Calagione. Calagione named this brewery after a town in Maine, where he used to spend his summers as a child. Dogfish Head grew rapidly and today produces 262,000 barrels of beer every single year and is now one of the most profitable breweries in the United States. When the brewery first opened, it produced 10 gallons of beer a day, while today it produces about 15,000 gallons a day.

Dogfish Head Brewery was featured in the documentary, Beer Wars, and the series, Brew Masters. This brewery is well known for its use of unconventional and unique ingredients, such as green raisins in their Raison Detre Ale. Pangaea is a Belgium style ale made from ingredients on every single continent in the world.
