Based on Ferdinand's Saar Dry Gin, our riesling-infused Saar Quince starts by carefully hand-picking riesling grapes from the steep shale slopes of the Saarburger Rausch, and over 30 ÔÅnely balanced botanicals taken from the vineyards of our own cultivation, are macerated with highly aromatic quince fruits from our trees behind the distillery. This golden-yellow "fruit of Aphrodite," as it is also known, is one of the oldest fruits in our culture and forms the basis for our regional homage to traditional sloe gin.
