word “alt” meaning “old”. This refers to the aging that alts undergo
since they ferment more slowly and at colder temperatures than most
ales. Slow fermentation helps condition the flavors in Alaskan Amber,
contributing to its overall balance and smoothness.

Alaskan Amber Beer creates delicious beer which is based on an old, local recipe from a brewery in Juneau, Alaska. This brand is created in an isolated area, as no cars can travel into Juneau from other areas of the country. This gives beer its renowned authentic, homey flavor.

Alaskan Amber Beer is made from high-quality ingredients found locally in Alaska.

The pure, icy glacial water from the Juneau Icefield is the source of water for all of their brews. This high-quality water source is very important since water is one of the most important ingredients to a successful beer. Spruce tips are one of the other ingredients that give the brews their sweet flavoring. These are handpicked and carefully harvested from the Tongass National Park. Another of the important, unique characteristics of this brew is that it is smoked over alder. This allows for the beer to be aged like fine wine.

Craft City needs help with their website and Customer Service.
I specifically ordered TWO six-packs after texting Craft City as gifts for my TWO brothers in law. They sent me one 12 pack. When I inquired, they said they only have 12-packs but web site offers "single" six packs. I asked them to correct the problem by sending me two cardboard six pack sleeves and they never responded.

Great Beer - S & H a Deal Breaker

I first had this product on tap at the Cannibal Saloon in Lake City CO. Thought it was a pretty decent brew. This is from a guy that has a A-B/ Coors American conventional lager taste profile. Found some in cans later in CO and it was OK, but it was still...canned. When I found it available in 12 oz glass, I thought I'd give it a try. Excellent taste vs the canned version; much closer to the draught version. The product was great, and the price was OK at $10.99 4/6 12 oz NR. The shipping however was really ridiculous. I really like the product, but no more for me due to the prohibitively exorbitant shipping and handling costs. It was really packed well, maybe overly so, but not worth the cost to ship two 6 pks NR bottles from San Diego to Oklahoma City.

BUYERS BEWARE--Stay away from Craft City-

Received 12 of 60 bottles ordered. Still had to pay for full order. They are in California (Lawlessness runs rampant, court system corrupt) and I am out of state. I received 20% of my order, signed it short, they refuse to refund me, and are keeping ALL my money. Crooks here along with Servall and their choice, I had no say, of transportation..FEDEX. Fedex has been infiltrated by gangs and theft rings due to desperation in needing help.

Wow! Total Surprise

Got one as a pick 6 in local grocery store; was not expecting the best amber aile I've ever had. Huge mouth feel! Ate with a burger; wish I had it with king crab and butter! Definitely getting again. CG
