Buffalo Trace O.F.C. Vintage 2004 is an ultra-rare Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey distilled in 2004 and matured for approximately two decades. The O.F.C. name stands for Old Fashioned Copper, the historic name of the distillery now known as Buffalo Trace Distillery. Each O.F.C. release is vintage-dated according to the year in which its bourbon was distilled. This limited expression is presented in a hand-cut crystal decanter housed inside a premium wooden display case. Its aroma offers dark cherry, mature oak, vanilla bean, caramel, dried fruit, and leather. The palate develops with toffee, butterscotch, baking spice, tobacco, dried cherry, and well-integrated oak. Extended maturation contributes substantial depth while retaining sweetness and fruit character. Bottled at 90 proof, it delivers a refined balance of aged oak, caramel, spice, and warmth. The finish is long and elegant, with lingering cinnamon, leather, molasses, and seasoned oak.
