Part of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection

Released once a year alongside icons like George T. Stagg and William Larue Weller, the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection is built around barrels selected specifically for their exceptional character after extended aging. Eagle Rare 17 Year represents the line's commitment to patience, with barrels chosen for how gracefully they've aged well past the standard 10-year Eagle Rare release.

A Milestone Age Statement

At 19 years and 3 months, this 2023 release pushed further into extended maturation than any Eagle Rare since the Antique Collection's 23-year-old edition, a genuine milestone for the brand and a key reason this specific release is so closely tracked by collectors.

Tasting Notes

• Character: rich caramel, toasted oak, and subtle spice.
