Finca Nueva Reserva Tempranillo Red Wine is deep purple in color. This red wine contains intensely fruit-forward aromas, including cherry liquor, ripe plums and cedar box. On the palate, the wine displays fresh acidity and delicate tannins which give way to a velvety finish. This Spanish red wine received 92 points from Wine & Spirits in 2021. The organically fertilized and sustainably farmed vineyards are located north of Madrid in Rioja Alta, Spain. This wine is aged for 24 months in French oak barrels, which are racked every 4 months. After oak aging, the wine is left unfined before it is aged extensively. While a “Reserva” must only be aged for 3 years, winemaker Miguel Ángel prefers to age his wines several years longer, making them soft on the palate and ready to consume upon release.
