J. Hofst§tter is known worldwide for its Pinot Noir and Gewºrztraminer, the J. Hofst§tter estate stands on the area of Tramin-Termeno, between the thick walls of an imposing 16th century building, next to the main church of this small town in the province of Bolzano. Now in its fourth generation, the company is run by Martin Foradori Hofst§tter: the son of Paolo Foradori (known as the father of Pinot Noir), he took the lead after three generations and over a century of experience in the care of delicate grapes, such as Pinot Noir and Gewºrztraminer, as well as other varieties including Lagrein, Pinot Blanc and Schiava. Martin Foradori Hofst§tter had the task of helping the company step into a new era, launching new business initiatives in the Mosel area – with the acquisition of the long-standing Dr. Fischer – and in Trentino, with the Maso Michei project.
