In 2012, 2 female founders - Carey Clahan and Sydney Rainin-Smith, had an idea. For their love of the margarita— they bought and tasted all of the ready-to-drink products on the market in an effort to make their parties easier, but were hugely disappointed by what was on the shelves. Every bottle they tried tasted like an adult Kool-Aid— or worse, something out of the medicine cabinet. So they set out on their own. The goal? To make a super premium cocktail that made no compromise on flavor, quality, calorie count or ingredients. They tasted and finessed, hired an artisan distiller in Mexico to develop their own super premium blanco agave tequila, and launched Laughing Glass Cocktails on shelves in April 2013. The Laughing Glass Classic Lime Margarita is low in calories (110 calories for 4 ounces), and tastes like you made it from scratch — authentic and delicious! Now, with 6 sku's - Classic Lime Margarita, Tequila Cosmo, Spicy Ancho Chili & Pineapple Spicyrita, Pink Paloma and 2 new cans - Sparkling Lime Margarita and Sparkling Pink Paloma - the friends (and now tequila experts) - are still doing what they love best – entertaining their friends and having fun, easy get-togethers!
