Maddalena Chardonnay comes from four cool-climate vineyards in the Monterey appellation, including Sarmento of Santa Lucia Highlands AVA, Loma Vista of Arroyo Seco AVA, and Rancho Soledad on Monterey AVA. 60% percent of this Chardonnay was barrel fermented in small American oak barrels giving the wine a beautifully rounded mouthfeel and lovely touches of well-integrated toasty oak. Fruit aromas and flavors include tropical guava, Meyer lemon and fresh squeezed orange, with additional notes of white flower and spice.

The natural acidity gives the wine structure and a lingering finish.
