The Pieropan legacy began in the late 1800s when visionary winemaker Leonildo Pieropan purchased the historic Palazzo Pallucci in the medieval village of Soave. Today, Leonildo’s great-grandsons, Andrea and Dario carry on the patriarch’s vision. Overseeing viticulture and winemaking, respectively, Andrea and Dario employ the same rigorous attention to detail as their forebears in bringing celebrated wines to life. The Pieropan family cultivates the land with an environmentally-conscious, low-impact approach, and brings wines to life in historic and modern cellars that blend tradition with modern technology. The first winery to offer a single-vineyard Soave Classico with the release of Calvarino in 1971, Pieropan is credited with initiating a renaissance in quality winegrowing in Soave.
