Frascati, renowned as "the wine of kings and popes" and "the golden wine of the Romans" has flourished in Rome for over two thousand years. Produced predominantly from the Malvasia grape, the rich volcanic soil, plentiful sunshine, and cool breezes provides an ideal climate suited for this varietal. With its bright fruity flavors, Riva de la Rosa' Frascati DOC serves as a wonderful aperitif as well as an excellent companion to light dishes.
