Famiglia Rivetti Barolo DOCG Italian Red Wine embodies all of the beauty and strength of the Piedmontese philosophy in this traditional wine. It is aged in large barrels of Slavonian oak where it rests for twenty-four months, developing significant tannins and a full body.

Dry with silky tannins, full bodied red wine

The Rivetti family has been in the business for five generations. Back in the 60s, 70s, 80s, they used to sell grapes and juice to other wineries because the wine market was not yet developed. For all the 90s, Massimo Rivetti used to sell grapes to some of the most prestigious wineries in the area and he learned a lot about quality grape growing and winemaking. In 2000, he decided to start making his own wines and in 2001 released his first vintage. Now, the winery is run by Massimo, his wife and their three sons. The Rivetti Family Farm has 25 hectares which are cultivated under the organic certification, and they grow both traditional and international grapes. The main production is Barbaresco, Langhe Nebbiolo and Barbera d’Alba. All the fields are grouped around three farmhouses: Froi, Garassino and Palazzina. Inside the first one, situated in the village of Neive, is the winery which is built on Serraboella hill, one of the most important for the production of Barbaresco.

Proof/ABV: 13
