This dry furmint is from estate-grown grapes and is an expression of Royal Tokaji’s 1st Growth single-vineyards around the M°d commune, which all feature volcanic soils. This is noted on the label with the Hungarian word, D±lëv°logat°s, which translates to vineyard selection.

The wines’ distinct character results from the varied volcanic soils of the classified vineyards, indigenous grapes and yeast, traditional winemaking methods and barrel-aging in the winery’s 13th-century underground cellars.
