The nose is perfumed with ripe, dark fruit notes, complemented by oak and deep earth tones mix with vanilla bean and mocha. The palate reveals a mix of dark berry and bright raspberry/cherry notes wrapped in spice.

The Sonoma Mountain to the west of the B. R. Cohn estate acts as a buffer to the coastal fog. We also benefit from the continual air movement created by the narrowing of the valley between Sonoma Mountain and the Mayacamas Mountain Range at our location. These climatic factors, combined with our vineyards being situated over hot springs, resulting in an earlier bud break and extended growing season for our fruit. Our grapes develop full tannins and flavor profiles every year, even in the most challenging vintages
