Inspired by Lars favorite dessert, The Plum, I Suppose dances around the perception of sweetness with the kernel inside plum stones as its foundation. The marzipan like plum kernels and fragrant marigold petals are macerated separately in our koji based spirit before going through a second distillation. Distilled marigold kombucha brings another side of refreshing floral and tannic notes reminiscent of plum skins to reduce the final blend. The spirit juxtaposes ephemerally familiar and novel notes, hence the reference to the Robert Frost poem The Rose Family
