Ferdinand's Saar Dry Gin

Buy Ferdinand's Saar Dry Gin Online -Craft City

The raw distillate produced from our own grain is distilled several times, with an additional steam infusion of freshly harvested herbs. We add a uniquely fresh floral note to the gin which is rounded off with a precise measure of Schiefer Riesling. The herbs, spices and fruits used in the gin are delicately balanced and are mainly cultivated onsite. Along with the basic ingredient of juniper, other regional ingredients such as rosehip, angelica, hop blossom and rose are equally important constituents.

Incredibly smooth and flavorful gin

I purchased this gin based on its description and because I've come to love German gins (Monkey 47, Elephant Gin, and some I picked up traveling in Bavaria). It did not disappoint. I've since purchased multiple bottles from Craft City and even shipped bottles to gin loving friends. It has the dry crisp finish of a dry English gin (Nolets, Millers - Navy, Plymouth - Navy) along with a unique smoothness of a flavored gin without the lingering flavor. In other words, it is SMOOTH but versatile since it remains crisp and clean. The Riesling gives it a faint hint of sweetness without being sweet. All in all, it is an incredible gin and takes it's place among my favorites (Plymouth, Monkey 47, Miller's, Junipero and Vikre Boreal Cedar gin).

Makes a unique and delicious Martini

Learned about this gin in Amsterdam Gin Bar from master gin mixologists. They made me a yummy Martini and I craved this Gin since. Very smooth and great botanicals. Most gins I'll make a g&t, but this deserves to shine in a Martini.
