Malted barley is fermented with 100% cultured Distiller's yeast. Distilled twice using traditional direct-heated copper-pot stills, preserving the whisky's traditional flavors. Maturing for 17 years in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks results in a rich aroma of butterscotch and smoke, leading to full-bodied notes of cherries, honeyed oak, sweet malt, and peat. The lingering finish offers hints of vanilla, sherry, and coffee.
