The characteristic scent of classic gin lies as a basis with a soft hint of citrus. IKON has a classic gin character of juniper berries, coriander, lemon peel, cinnamon, cardamom and elder flowers. For a richer and more complex taste profile, lead singer Anders Frid©n chose to raise the alcohol content to 43%. As an additional top note there lies a splash of orange zest and lemongrass that has been carefully macerated and then added to the distilled gin.
IKON is the band’s way of introducing craft gin as a high-quality drink, where Frid©n has been hands-on in every step of the process.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Spicy with highlighted aromas of juniper, lemon-peel, cinnamon and pink pepper
Palate: Notes of light spice, balanced juniper, lemon-peel, cinnamon, angelica root and elderflower.
Finish: Classic, balanced and full-bodied.
