At Maker’s Mark, our Wood Finishing Series explores unique expressions of our signature Maker’s Mark whisky, using natural flavors from wood to amplify certain characteristics.

For the Distillery Exclusive releases, we have partnered with Independent Stave Co. to develop unique flavors possible from wood. The wood staves are seasoned and then either baked or toasted. We then add 10 staves to each barrel of Maker’s Mark and place it in our limestone cellar for an extra finishing process.

This creates a distinctive version of Maker’s Mark that explores the flavor and character of our signature whisky. Enjoy!
