Victoriano Joya produces Puntagave Rustico 700 meters above sea level in the seaside area of Cabo Corrientes. Agave Rhodacantha is twice distilled in a Philippino still constructed of copper and a hollowed-out tree trunk after being burned in an earthen pit. On the scent, the agave Rhodacantha takes on a parmesan cheese fragrance with a hint of green earthiness.
