Orchid Cellar barrel-aged an orange bochetîa caramelized honey mead fermented with zesty orangesîto create their "Jester" mead, and we finished our 7-year-old straight rye whiskey for an additional 2 years in these barrels to craft this enchanting spirit. This whiskey opens with floral sweetness, powdered sugar, and rich chocolate pie, followed by subtle notes of honeycomb and orange marmalade before a classic rye spice finish.
