Tenuta Sette Cieli Noi4 is a distinctive wine that perfectly captures the essence of its high-altitude Tuscany terroir. Crafted from carefully selected grapes grown in the estate’s organically farmed vineyards, Noi4 offers a harmonious blend of complexity and elegance. A bespoke bottle due to a combination of sustainable viticulture practices and the careful management of vine age and exposure. The vineyards, planted in 2003 and trained using the spurred cordon system, benefit from the optimal West/East exposure, ensuring even ripening and enhancing the aromatic profile of the grapes.
A blend born of the desire to explore new territories, refined in barriques for 8 months. This wine is very expressive. It’s characterized by a very elegant nose, fresh fruitiness, balanced acidity, good persistence with an interesting minerality. In the mouth the tannins are very soft and round.
Tenuta Sette Cieli, or the 'Estate of the Seven Skies,' sits atop a hill at 400 meters with incredible views in every direction. Today, there are 10 hectares of high-density vineyards planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Malbec. To this, in 2018, a further 36 hectares was added, of which 9 hectares are under vine at altitudes of between 70 and 140 meters, the majority of which falls within the Bolgheri DOC.
Tenuta Sette Cieli is located between Bolgheri and Castagneto Carducci, on the Tuscan coast 400 meters above sea level. The 83 hectare estate overlooks terraced vineyards and the Tyrrhenian Sea, and is surrounded by the lush woods of Monteverdi Marittimo. Twenty-five acres of high-density vineyards are planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Malbec. Because of Tenuta Sette Cieli’s respect for nature, the winery has chosen organic practices to safeguard the environment. Everything is done by hand in the vineyards, with careful attention to each detail. The journey continues in the cellar where the winery employs single-variety vinification. Fermentation starts with wild yeasts, and the final selection of the wines is done only after a period of barrel aging in French oak barrels.
