The nose delivers an aromatic palette of fruity notes of sour cherries and mixed berries together with hints of violets, irises, and chocolate with light sensations of cloves on the finish. Entry on the palate is soft and is sustained by elegant tannins and a balanced finish.

The vision behind the Tormaresca winery was to produce top quality wines from Apulia's indigenous grape varieties. Tormaresca, "tower by the sea", was named after the region's ancient seaside towers overlooking the Adriatic Sea.
